Our Major Sponsor..............................

They will be sponsoring us with a $25 voucher every month for their fantastic {super fast delivery} online store.

An introduction from Lee-anne and Danny at Scrap Therapy.....................................

Well we certainly know all the DT here very well, with several of the girls being regular contributors to our forum but for the participants who have not discoverd Scraptherapy yet here is the basics.

Danny and I purchased Scraptherapy as a small, pre-existing online store in early July 2008, as a small part-time venture. Since then we have seen amazing growth, now offering over 10,000 products. We have closed our other business to focus wholly on Scraptherapy, opening a Paper Craft Bricks and Mortar store in Babinda, FNQ to run in conjunction with the online site. During the last 2+ years we have learnt a whole load of stuff about e-commerce, scrapbooking, cardmaking and the people who love these hobbies. Although Scraptherapy has continued to grow, Danny and I have just found more hours in the day and it is still a small family owned and operated business.

This January we are very excited to be running away to CHA for the first time, and look forward to coming home with a bundle of exciting new ideas and products to share with you all. The web site will be open for ordering during this time however orders will be sent out in the second week of February when we get back. Orders placed and paid for before the 12th January, 2011 will be sent before we leave. New stock from CHA should start to arrive in early March and we can't wait to see what yummy new goodness is available this time around.

At www.scraptherapy.com.au you will find a fantastic easy to use shop where we hope you will find all the latest and greatest products at great prices. If you can’t find what you are looking for feel free to contact me at lee-anne@scraptherapy.com.au and check to see if we can get it in for you. We often can. All our freight is fixed at $6 whether you choose our express post service or our postage with insurance option, and orders over $60 will get a little bonus pressie popped in with their order.

I love scrapbooking and Danny can whip up a pretty good card, but our true passion is excelling in great customer service, which we hope to continue to do for years to come.

And then there's me..........................

Bec...........................

Hi!
I'm Bec, mum of a 10 year old boy and 2 year old girl, married and living in the Yarra Valley in Victoria.
I have been scrapping for about 3 years and having it as my creative outlet, is my addiction as I have always had something arty or crafty on the go since I was a teenager and working in the Photographic Industry for 13 years.

My style of scrapping includes lace, lace, lace {I love lace!!}, ink, distressing, doilies and sometimes paint. I love the vintage colours and patterns and adore Shabby and you will see that influence on my pages.

I am so excited about my new little venture into the Scrapbooking Challenge Blog world with Scrap Jacked and super excited to have such a lovely bunch of girls to work with. There work is amazing as you will see over the next few months.

I can't wait to start inspiring you all and seeing how the Design Team inspire you.

And another welcome back...............................

Mandy..........................

And I can say that this is one of her favourite days of the year!! How suitable for her introduction!!

Heeeello! I'm Mandy - but mostly known as mandysea. I was on the previous DT of Aussie ScrapJacked and was thrilled when Bec decided to take this fabulous Challenge Blog on and asking me to stay!!

I live on the north coast of Tasmania right on Bass Straight in an old house with a big veranda overlooking the sea with my very camera shy husband and have three beautiful daughters.

My scrappy style could be explained as mainly Shabby and textured with layering. I love to work with paint, crochet doily strips and tissue paper added with laces, trims, fabric then toss in a few buttons.

I'm really looking forward to the first challenge and seeing what you all create along with us!!

Welcome Back....................................

Julie...................
Hi my name is Julie Dudley and I have been card making since 2000 and scrapbooking since 2005. I am primarily a scrapbooker but my love of scrapbooking started from stamping and card making and now I enjoy both.
I love to try out a lot of different techniques on my projects and consider my style as elective or as I call it a bitza, little bits of everything with a big shabby, vintage influence.
Scrapping is my creative outlet, my me time and I totally love it.
I live in Perth Western Australia with my husband Craig and daughter Asher who is my main scrapping subject.

Another Intro.....................

Christine..........................

Hi Fellow Scrapper,
So excited with being apart of the Scrap Jacked DT :)

I live in Baldivis, WA with my husband Jeff and 2 teenage daughters (our adult son lives on the Sunshine Coast). I work during the week managing a child care centre and on weekends we are respite foster carers for children aged 0-5 (we give regular carers a break from fostering).

I have been scrapping for 12 years (started with Creative Memories) but only really discovered scrapbooking 6 years ago. My husband and I have a great deal - whatever he spends on fishing equipment, I can spend on scrapbooking :)

Scrap Style: I like to scrap 8.5x11 or 6x12 layouts (with the occasional 12x12). I like a clean simple design with the photo being the main focus.

My blog is: http://scrappinshimano.blogspot.com

Only a few more members left.
See you all in 2 more days for another super member.

Please Welcome.........................

Mel..........................

Hello!!
My name is Melissa I live on the Atherton Tablelands, west of Cairns in far North Queensland.
You will see in the coming months my main inspiration is my two handsome boys aged 9 and 11. Like most of you my main reason for scrapping is for them to have special memories to look back on in the years to come. I know they already love to sit down adn look through the albums that I have created.

I also started dabbling in cardmaking, with the inclusion of stamping/water colouring about 18 months ago and it has very quickly become another addiction.
A lot of my inspiration comes from checking out galleries, blog hopping and playing around with sketches and challenge blogs. There are so many creative, talented scrappers/cardmakers out there.

I am extremely thrilled and proud to be a part of the new Scrap Jacked DT and hope to inspire you along with the other terrific girls on the team in 2011.
Thanks Bec for this fantastic opportunity. I can't wait to get started.
I would love for you to visit my blog............. http://melstopofthepile.blogspot.com/

Keep an eye out for the next new talented team member.............................

And Another..............

Sarah.............................

Hi everyone! My name is Sarah (aka Byclops). A little about me...I am married, with no kids of the human variety - just a fur baby Bengal cat named Hunter.
I manage a financial planning business (for pay) and my husband's photo retouching business (for love!) and in my spare time I love to scrap, watch dvds and play guitar. My husband Dean & I are obsessed wiht travelling, and have been lucky enough to have some amazing trips the past few years.

Recording these holiday snaps is really what got me in to scrapbooking a few years back and I am so blessed to have me so many wonderful friends through this hobby!
I love to participate in scrapbooking forums and blog challenges.
My scrapbooking style seems to vary from page to page, but in the main it is a "minimalist style" - clean lines, lots of white/negative space, free of clutter, simplistic, and often with some doodling.

I really look forward to being a part of the Scrap Jack team.
Be sure to pop on over to my blog and say hi - http://byclops77.blogspot.com

See you all in 2 days for another fantastic new Scrap Jack Design Team member.

Another New DT Member...........................

Lisa...................

I am Mum to two girls, both bundles of energy aged 8 & 10. I always seem to have something crafty on the go, but scrapbooking is my obsession when I can fit it into our crazy schedule.
I like to work in 8x8's and you'll see alot of Cosmo Cricket and Basic Grey in my LO at the moment but I also love to use everyday objects on my pages and collect bits and pieces from all over the place.
Inking, laces, buttons, flowers and vintage items usually feature too but above all it's the photos that are always my main focus. I enjoy that the kids enjoy looking at their albums and that we have a reminder of our life so far.

Thank you to Bec for inviting me to join the DT here at SJ, I am honoured to be among such talented artists and can't wait to see how they and you inspire each other.

Introducing..............................

Vicki............................

Hi!

I'm a mum to two little hooligans, said with love ;), my daughter aged 4 and my little man aged 2 and I've been married to the best man I know for the last 14 years.
My sister dragged me kicking to a Creative Memories party in 2002 but the scrapping bug really only bit me when I had my daughter in 2006. This year I've become hugely addicted to stamps and cardmaking too.

I'm so honoured to be asked by the gorgeous & talented Bec to be part of the ScrapJacked team and excitely hoping that you'll find some inspiration in my projects.

DECEMBER SCRAPJACK :) :) :)

As a thank you to Lou for all the time and effort she has put into the Aussie Scrap Jack blog and a farewell to her this month some of the team have chosen to Jack her as the last Jack here at ASJ with Lou running the show.

Mandy has jacked this stunner.

Just so you know! Bucket loads full of appreciation for all the hard work
you have uploaded here at ASJ! The inspiration is second to none in the
'arty' world of scrapping!! I've loved the ride and will miss your
challenges and will absolutely be seeing you and your amazing work on your
blog!!! Hugs Mandy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Julie has jacked this fun layout.

Thanks ever so much Missy Lou for asking me to come on board the team when you took it over. I have enjoyed jacking along with you and the others and will miss the great inspiration that you managed to find for us each month. I will most certainly be popping in and checking out your creations on your blog and hope to one day meet in real life.

Hugs Julie

Kat jacked a combo...

Thank you thank you thank you Lou for an AMAZINGLY fun ride!! I've waited patiently to get my jacks mail each month and have never been disappointed, the gorgeous projects you chose have always been full of inspiration, but I have to say its you that has inspired me the most, you're a special sort of person Lou, both scrappy-wise and personally, yeppers, you ROOOOOOOOKKKKK!!!! ;)

*mwah*
Kat xx

Kerryn jacked this fabulous layout
.

Lou's style is so immediately identifiable and amazingly unique. There were so many inspirational layouts on her blog. It's not until you really pay attention that you notice all the subtle little details that Lou puts into her layouts. I have had an absolute blast working with you and the ASJ team over the last few months Lou and I'm looking forward to meeting you (properly this time ;) ) at E2C next year!!
x Kerryn

Petrina has chosen to do a "lou inspired LO" as her final jack.

"I didn't even have to go to Lou's blog or look for any layouts as I already knew the bits of Lou's style that I love - a bit of dribbly-ness here, a bit of string there, and most importantly something unexpected....like this feather. "

As I sit back and think of when the whole Aussie Scrapjack thing got off the ground (yes, I went back and found the first post where my first ever jack was uploaded - here way back in 2007!!) I have to agree with everyone else - it has certainly been a sensational ride. In fact......I think I actually met Lou through ASJ when she started jacking with us! How cool is that!

Thank you EVERYONE who has been involved in Aussie Scrapjack, I have met so many wonderful people through this site.

xx
